GPS navigation solutions provider Nav N Go today selected the Loquendo ASR Automotive Solution for its Nav N Go iGO 8 navigation software.

In May, Nav N Go selected Loquendo’s TTS Automotive solution to power the reading of dynamic data such as traffic and road conditions, personal messages, news, and more through the Nav N Go iGo 8.

Loquendo ASR Automotive Solution is a multilingual, small footprint speech recognition program with enhanced recognition accuracy specifically adapted to noisy in-car environments. It is optimized for small-device voice inputs.

"The navigation market is developing extremely rapidly, and the new features that are being introduced as a result of this development define the unique selling position of every different product," says Nav N Go's product development director László Késmárki.
