Active Voice, a subsidiary of NEC Unified Solutions, last week provided a sneak peek of what’s-to-come in its soon-to-be-released next generation flagship solution for the large enterprise.

In addition to VideoMail, Kinesis 3.0 will include clustering, voicemail telephony user interface (TUI) emulation, a ViewCall call control utility, and the Find Me/Follow Me application.

Enhanced capabilities within the Kinesis 3.0 architecture also include geographically dispersed clustering, fail-over, replication, redundancy, and security to ensure enterprise business continuity. In case of an emergency, these capabilities will continue to work as part of the application’s disaster recovery channel.
Active Voice Kinesis 3.0 will be generally available next month.
