HALIFAX, Canada - Diaphonics released VoiceSentry TI, a text-independent voice biometrics engine.  The result of more than two years of R&D, the new engine is able to authenticate callers during an unstructured dialogue. 

VoiceSentry TI works by matching a caller's speech patterns against the voice template or voiceprint created during previous calls.  The new engine will complement the company's current text-dependent voice verification solutions, such as Password Agent, which automatically resets passwords over the phone.
