TURIN, Italy and VALENCIA, Spain - EMT - The Madrid Municipal Transport Company selected Loquendo and Etra, a provider of traffic and transport systems, to provide information to its passengers. Etra integrated Loquendo's Text to Speech solution into its information service for EMT.

Loquendo's TTS will provide passengers on board EMT buses with a range of information, from the name of the next stop to information on the service, including any delays that could affect the passenger. Loquendo TTS has been integrated by Etra into a computer system running on the Linux OS.

EMT is the provider of the main bus service in Madrid.
