Embarq has entered into a patent license agreement with Klausner Technologies for its visual voicemail services.

The visual voicemail patent license covers, among other products, the EMBARQ eGo DECT 6.0 Phone on the Embarq network built by VTech, which includes the visual voicemail feature.

Embarq is the 24th company to license Klausner Technologies’ visual voicemail patents. Current licensees of the visual voicemail patents include major U.S. and European wireless service providers, handset manufacturers, cable operators, and other providers of visual voicemail services.
