Genesys Named a Leader by Gartner

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories Inc., a subsidiary of Alcatel (NYSE: ALA, Paris: CGEP.PA), announced that market research firm Gartner Inc. has again placed Genesys in the leader quadrant in the North American contact center market. According to Gartner's June 17, 2003 report titled, "N.A. Contact Center Infrastructure Magic Quadrant, 2003," Genesys is one of only a few companies in the "Leader" quadrant [1]. "It is gratifying that once again Gartner has recognized our market and thought-leadership in delivering innovative software solutions for managing customer interactions and driving customer satisfaction through the contact center," said Genesys COO Laurent Philonenko. "While we were evaluated on many important attributes, from corporate strategy to product and financial capabilities, it is particularly important to note our position in delivering a complete vision for the contact center of today and tomorrow."
