Intervoice promoted Jim Milton to president and chief operating officer. He has served as executive vice president and chief operating officer since joining the company in January 2006.

Milton joined Intervoice after 25 years of high-tech sales, marketing, and general management experience at Digital Equipment, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard and UGS. Most recently, he was executive vice president at UGS (now a Siemens company). He previously served as senior vice president and managing director of the Americas for Hewlett-Packard.
