LumenVox, a provider of speech recognition technology, yesterday began offering a complete range of hosting services for speech applications.

LumenVox has engineered a carrier-grade, high-availability facility with parallel processing offsite that can handle millions of customer interactions every day. The on-site, state-of-the-art data center was built specifically for hosting speech and telephony applications.

"LumenVox's hosted offering is a great fit for customers requiring a robust and full-featured speech infrastructure," said LumenVox founder and chairman Edward Miller, in a statement "Whether the goal is to get a proof of concept running as quickly as possible or launch a full solution in our redundant data centers, LumenVox Hosting lets customers deploy applications at very competitive rates."

LumenVox provides a full range of services to ensure that hosted applications are robust and optimized for customer requirements. Also, because LumenVox deploys and supports the same solution stack in both the hosting environment and on-premises solutions, conversion cost between the two is also minimized. "It is simply the most flexible and efficient method for putting speech solutions into production," Miller said.
