BARCELONA, Spain and VIENNA, Austria - Philips Speech Processing released the Spanish version of MultiMed ConText for its speech recognition software, SpeechMagic. The Universitario Clinico San Carlos of Madrid, the Hospital Universitario Virgen de las Nieves and the Hospital Universitario San Cecilio of Granada are the first hospitals in Spain to install the MultiMed Context throughout their entire organization. The installations will be carried out by New Doors, a Philips technology partner.
The MultiMed ConText covers specialized terminology for more than 90% of all medical disciplines including cardiology, internal medicine, emergency medicine and general surgery.
