The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has installed Nexidia's Audio Discovery software to aid in reviews of audio content produced in its investigations of the financial industry.

The SEC's mission is to protect investors, maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and facilitate capital formation. In fulfilling its mission, the SEC manages investigations into many types of trading activity, which includes large volumes of audio recordings.

"We're pleased the SEC has chosen Nexidia Audio Discovery for reviewing audio content in their regulatory investigations," said Jeff Schlueter, vice president of the legal market at Nexidia. "The SEC joins a growing list of regulatory agencies both in the U.S. and abroad that have selected Nexidia for reviewing audio in a timely and cost-effective manner."
