ZURICH - SVOX AG appointed Eric Lehmann as chief sales officer (CSO).

Lehmann's appointment by the board of directors took effect June 1, 2006. In this new position, Lehmann will oversee and spearhead global sales for the company's mobile speech output solutions.

Lehmann is fluent in Italian, French and German, and holds dual US and Swiss citizenship. As CSO, he will draw on his experience and linguistic capabilities to help drive the SVOX global expansion initiative.

Lehmann previously served as sales manager at ABB, where he oversaw sales growth for the company.
