SpeechCycle Names Sales VP

On-demand voice self-service solutions provider SpeechCycle has named  R. Todd Barber vice president of sales. Barber will be responsible for expanding direct and partner sales efforts for SpeechCycle’s LevelOne suite of self-service solutions.  

Barber is charged with creating new opportunities for SpeechCycle voice recognition applications delivered in a Software as a Service (SaaS) model for Digital Service providers around the world, as well as with SpeechCycle partners. His 20 years of experience in communications, computer and software industries most recently includes serving as vice president of sales for the Americas at Comverse. Prior to that, he was vice president of telecommunication sales at SpeechWorks (now Nuance Communications), where he created sales teams and significantly grew revenue. Barber has also held senior level sales, business development, and product management positions at Stratus Computer, Vicorp Interactive, and Volt Delta Resources.
