SpeechStorm opened a new office in Glasgow, Scotland, to provide a base for the company’s expanding northern sales and service delivery team.

The news comes as Stirling Council, a local government authority in Scotland, became the latest customer to deploy a SpeechStorm contact center solution. The solution enables Stirling Council to capture real-time caller information and intelligence from the caller base, providing valuable feedback on the quality of service.

"We believe the timing is right for us to continue our expansion in the U.K. Glasgow is already established as one of the U.K.’s foremost centers of excellence for the contact-center industry," said Oliver Lennon, CEO of SpeechStorm. "Centers in Scotland are starting to focus more on speech recognition solutions as a means to increase efficiencies and improve customer service."
