Cloud-based partnership will bring voice capabilities to more retail and distribution operations.
Voxware, a provider of voice solutions, and LogFire, a provider of multitenant, cloud-based supply chain execution and warehouse management solutions (WMS), today announced a strategic partnership that is bringing to market an integrated voice solution for distribution centers and in-store operations.
By leveraging the LogFire-Voxware integrated cloud-based solution, manufacturers, wholesalers, third-party logistics services providers, and retailers can do the following:
- Execute distribution center and in-store operations, including: receiving, quality control, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, store receiving, shelf replenishment, and cycle/physical inventory counting.
- Receive, act on, and communicate information critical to their businesses without requiring significant internal IT costs.
- Bypass the traditional up-front cost, time, and resource commitments associated with on-premises solutions.
