ABN AMRO Services Company To Enhance Its CashPro Web Information Delivery Platform

CHICAGO, IL - ABN AMRO Services Company Inc., a subsidiary of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. announced that it will use Centerpost Corporation's SmartDeliverySM solution to develop a multi-channel notification service. ABN AMRO Services Company provides treasury management services to its affiliate banks including LaSalle Bank, N.A., and Standard Federal Bank, N.A. By the end of the year, ABN AMRO Services Company's CashPro( Web clients will be able to receive a range of treasury management-related notifications by voice, wireless text, email and fax. ABN AMRO Services Company's multi-channel notification service is an offering in the treasury management industry and is being launched in response to extensive research of its customer base. "A proactive, real-time communications service that delivers information over multiple channels provides a highly valuable capability to the CashPro( Web platform," said Milton Santiago, Jr., first vice president and department head of ABN AMRO Services Company's electronic banking unit. "Ultimately we hope to leverage the service across other areas of the bank and even internally as an employee communications tool." Through research conducted by ABN AMRO Services Company, it was determined that clients want the multi-channel flexibility and real-time access that Centerpost's solution offers. In fact, 83 percent of treasury management services clients indicated that they would find this notification service valuable. The research clearly validated that an email-only solution falls well short of satisfying clients, as 56 percent want to receive notifications via voice.
