Acapela Launches Infovox iVox

MONS, Belgium - Acapela Group will be present at Apple Expo, at which it will present its Infovox iVox, a solution developed jointly with the distribution partner, AssistiveWare.

Infovox iVox is a solution that allows the Acapela voices to be used in all applications compatible with the Mac OS X Speech Manager, including TextEdit, Preview, Acrobat Reader, Proloquo, AppleWorks, etc., as well as a number of educational titles.  Infovox iVox can also be used with Tiger's integrated screen reader technology called VoiceOver.  The product functions on both Mac PowerPCs and Mac Intels.

The languages currently available are: American and British English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Flemish, Spanish, Portuguese, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish.  Acapela offers a selection of male, female and child (American) voices for each language.
