Aculab Supports Microsoft Speech Server 2007

Aculab supports Microsoft Speech Server (MSS) 2007.  MSS 2007 offers a number of enhancements to previous versions including: native support for IP-based protocols - VoIP, SIP and RTP, and the addition of support for the VoiceXML programming interface.

Solution providers, who are looking to use MSS 2007 to leverage existing investments in TDM telephony equipment or are looking to migrate to IP, can take advantage of Aculab's portfolio of worldwide protocols including: Q.SIG, SS7, DPNSS, and ISDN. Aculab's telephony interface manager (TIM), which has been certified by Microsoft, gives developers access to Aculab's media processing resource card, Prosody.

Prosody provides media processing resources for operation of the MSS and its primary rate trunk module enables digital network connectivity. The digital network access capability of Aculab's Prosody card is used to connect MSS 2007 to enterprise voice networks.
