Automatic Captioning Comes to YouTube Live

According to an announcement on the YouTube blog, changes are coming to YouTube Live streaming, including automatic captioning in English. The post says, "With our live automatic speech recognition (LASR) technology, you’ll get captions with error rates and latency approaching industry standards. We'll roll this out in the coming weeks, and will continue to improve accuracy and latency of automatic captions."  

Other new features include location tagging and live chat replay.
