Broadvoice Launches Hosted Call Recording Solution

Broadvoice, a hosted voice and telecommunications provider, has launched Hosted Call Recording as part of its Cloud PBX and Unified Communications Suite. Hosted Call Recording can automatically record calls from any device connected to the Broadvoice network with no additional hardware required.

This premium feature allows Broadvoice customers to record call audio and store the files in the cloud. Recorded calls can be accessed through Broadvoice's Cloud PBX administration portal and are available for playback and download.

Broadvoice partnered with OrecX, a provider of call recording applications for call centers, enterprises, and business VoIP providers, to power the solution.

"The concept of only recording calls inside the office is obsolete. Today's workforce mixes in-office agents with teleworkers, over a variety of call platforms. Our Hosted Call Recording solution captures the calls regardless of device or location," Jim Murphy, CEO of Broadvoice, said in a statement. "The partnership with OrecX allows us to leverage their deep integration with our MetaSwitch IP Telephony platform and deliver a seamless solution to our customers."
