Brooktrout, Bludis and VoiceGenie Partner to Deliver Integrated Solutions for Advanced Speech-Enabled Applications in Italy

BRUSSELS, Belgium - The partnership will allow Bludis to offer developers a platform that combines Brooktrout's TR1000™ speech platform and NeXusPoint, VoiceGenie's VoiceXML-based platform, to build speech-enabled applications such as voice self-help systems, advanced message delivery services, virtual assistants and automated business finder and operator services.

/>BRUSSELS , Belgium Brooktrout Technology, Bludis and VoiceGenie announced a partnership to provide an integrated VoiceXML solution for developers of speech-enabled applications in Italy .  The partnership will allow Bludis to offer developers a platform that combines Brooktrout's TR1000™ speech platform and NeXusPoint, VoiceGenie's VoiceXML-based platform, to build speech-enabled applications such as voice self-help systems, advanced message delivery services, virtual assistants and automated business finder and operator services.  Based on an open-standards architecture, the integrated platform is mature, reliable and flexible.

 

Through distribution arrangements with Brooktrout and VoiceGenie, Bludis, a European Value Added Distributor of information technology, will be able to provide a 100% VoiceXML compliant platform to their customers.  Developers can take advantage of this best of breed, integrated platform to create speech-driven applications that allow instant access to information from any landline, wireless or mobile phone or other handheld device.

Brooktrout and VoiceGenie's joint integration efforts continue to evolve and Brooktrout's TR1000 now supports upgraded versions of NeXusPoint.  VoiceXML developers can now take advantage of Brooktrout's TR1000 advanced speech processing features when building their applications on the NeXusPoint. The TR1000's full-duplex operation, long-tail echo cancellation and integrated Voice Activity Detection improve system accuracy and performance, and complement NeXusPoint's advanced audio processing, application and development tools, multi-language support and voice verification capabilities to deliver high levels of scalability, flexibility and robustness.
