CT Portal Expands Coverage

OTTAWA, CANADA - The CT Portal, an online telephony resources, has expanded its coverage. The newly redesigned portal, located at www.computertelephony.org, now includes over 1,300 verified links to companies and organizations in the telephony and speech area.

Companies can submit their white papers, case studies and news releases. Users can search for information by categories or via the built-in full text search engine and can also participate in the moderated forum on a wide variety of topics surrounding telephony and speech.

One of the forums is a linguist-led, moderated forum for speech developers and users.

Created in 1997, the CT Portal was built to serve as a common resource for the growing community of telephony and speech technologies, vendors and applications. The portal is an open and vendor neutral knowledge base that grows through the initiatives and content contributions of its members. The CT Portal is a community initiative by Pronexus Inc., a provider of customer communication solutions.

"We believe that the dynamic market for telephony and speech will continue to show solid growth. Providing a centralized resource for potential buyers and sellers in this space plays an important part in their success and the industry's growth", commented Gary T. Hannah, President and CEO of Pronexus Inc. "We hope that the CT Portal will facilitate the industry's further growth by providing a forum for information exchange and distribution." Telephony and speech vendors are invited to contribute a basic or enhanced company listing, as well as gain additional visibility by submitting their own white papers, case studies, and news and events announcements. All submissions are free of charge.
