Courion and Diaphonics Partner

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Courion® Corporation and Diaphonics entered a reseller agreement to provide enterprises with a voice-based password management solution. Under the new agreement, Courion will resell the Diaphonics voice biometric technology, providing customers with another access option for its PasswordCourier® self-service password reset and synchronization solution.  Diaphonics will also resell Courion's Enterprise Provisioning Suite™ through its direct sales force and channel.

As part of the partnership agreement, Courion will integrate Diaphonics' Spike Server , an integrated platform for voice biometric security, with Courion's PasswordCourier for expanded end user access options.  Diaphonics will offer PasswordCourier to customers needing password reset and synchronization to a broad range of target systems and applications.

The integrated offering provides users with the option of resetting their password through an automated voice verification system. Accessible from any telephone, Diaphonics' Spike Server acts as an interface to PasswordCourier's enterprise password management capabilities. Once the server authenticates the identity of the user, it works with PasswordCourier to manage the password reset and synchronization function. The combined use of content verification and voiceprint authentication are used to verify the user's identity, and PasswordCourier's audit trails. Users are able to change passwords by using their voice.
