Deloitte Discovery recently launched an integrated proprietary audio handling technology called Audio Assistant that enables audio file transcription, preservation, and analysis for use with kCura's e-discovery platform, Relativity.

Integrated with a suite of tools Deloitte has built on Relativity, the Audio Assistant enables users to index, transcribe, and search for audio files hosted in Relativity during the normal course of discovery. The Audio Assistant can also be used on larger audio discovery matters, where searching is required prior to hosting in Relativity for discovery.

"The ability to facilitate large audio discovery matters is a sought-after capability within Relativity that Deloitte clients can benefit from," said Steve Nygard, a Deloitte Advisory managing director in discovery for Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics, in a statement. "We've seen demand for expansive audio file discovery capabilities from our clients for some time and we're proud to be one of the first organizations able to offer this integrated solution."
