Dragon Apps Are Now Available in Israel

Nuance Communications today announced that its Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search applications for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad are now available for free in the Israel App Store, expanding the apps' availability to 41 countries around the world. Now supporting the Hebrew language, Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search allow iOS consumers a way to send text messages and email, update Twitter and Facebook, search for Web content, and more, all with their voice.

"We've seen very strong demand for voice-enabled interactions across the Middle East, and we're thrilled to now support the Hebrew language, while bringing Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search to Israel," said Michael Thompson, executive vice president and general manager of Nuance Mobile, in a statement. "Voice simplifies and humanizes what are typically complex interactions, and the power of Dragon makes it faster and easier than ever to stay connected and find information and content."

Dragon Dictation is iOS-6 compatible and features a pop-up toolbar with app icons that enable users to access email, SMS, Facebook or Twitter status bars, or the clipboard. Dragon Search allows users to speak any search query to find information and knowledge on the mobile Web. Dragon Search features Nuance's Dragon Search Carousel, which delivers search results within seconds across multiple channels, including Google, Yahoo!, Twitter, iTunes, Wikipedia, and YouTube
