Envox Worldwide Introduces Envox CT Connect Gateway for Cisco CallManager

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — Envox Worldwide released Envox CT Connect Gateway for Cisco CallManager, an extension to the Envox CT Connect product line. Envox CT Connect enables business applications to manage, monitor and control calls across multiple locations within mixed telephony switching environments. The Envox CT Connect Gateway for Cisco CallManager is a standards-based gateway that enables IVR, CRM, workforce management and other contact center solutions to communicate with Cisco CallManager, the call processing component of Cisco's IP telephony infrastructure.

Cisco CallManager is an enterprise IP telephony call processing solution.

The Envox CT Connect Gateway for Cisco CallManager enables third-party call control of Cisco IP stations. Applications can assign these stations to monitor status and initiate third-party call control functionality including the ability to make calls, answer calls, hold, transfer and conference calls.

With the introduction of the Envox CT Connect Gateway for Cisco CallManager, developers and service providers that have already standardized on Envox CT Connect will now be able to deploy their existing Envox CT Connect-based applications on Cisco CallManager switches. In addition, enterprises with PBX's and IP PBX's from multiple vendors or with mixed IP/TDM networks will now be able to standardize their CTI applications on Envox CT Connect.
