Glenayre Solutions Support More than 1.4 Million Cricket Customers

ATLANTA, GA - Glenayre Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: GEMS) announced that Cricket Communications Inc., a subsidiary of communications company Leap Wireless International Inc. (Nasdaq: LWIN), has installed Glenayre's Versera Messaging platform in its markets nationwide. Leap began utilizing Glenayre's voice messaging solutions when it first launched Cricket, its local wireless service, in March of 1999. Today Leap relies on Glenayre's Versera Messaging platform to help provide flexible communications services to its Cricket customers in all 40 of its markets across the country.
