IP Unity Glenayre and Metaphor Solutions Partner on Speech-based IVR

SAN JOSE, Calif. - IP Unity Glenayre and Metaphor Solutions entered a partnership and released the Plug & Play IVR (Integrated Voice Response) application suite for the IPUnity Glenayre Media Server, that lets customers self-configure, deploy, manage, and report on speech-based IVR customer service solutions.

Using the solution from IP Unity Glenayre and Metaphor Solutions, service providers will be able to offer enterprise IVR and Call Center services. The new Speech IVR on-demand applications allow end customers to choose from more than 50 pre-configured Speech IVR packages. Through a self-service interface, customers can customize their version of the application by modifying prompts and business variables; they can connect the application to data at their site through a self-configuring Web-services interface. The joint offering includes menus and options specifically designed for financial services, retail, healthcare, and enterprise environments.
