Integration Associates Announces Partnership With Sensory

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - Integration Associates and Sensory announced they have entered into a strategic agreement to co-market Integration Associates' EZRadio™ wireless chipset with Sensory's speech Recognition Synthesis and Control (RSC) chipset.

"EZRadio enables wireless connectivity for toys and consumer electronics at a price/performance point previously unavailable," said Jean-Luc Nauleau, chief executive officer for Integration Associates. "With this partnership, electronic designers have a complete wireless and voice package that can easily be used to create a new generation of innovative products."

EZRadio is a FSK (frequency shift keying) receiver/transmitter chipset. It incorporates an Automatic Antenna Tuning technology (patent pending) into a highly integrated RF (radio frequency) chipset, which provides connectivity for low power, low data-rate RF communications. In addition, EZRadio includes features designed to extend battery life and enable smaller end-user products.

"Voice is by any measures the ultimate user interface," said Todd Mozer, chief executive officer for Sensory. "By combining the best voice recognition and wireless technologies, at very low cost to design and to produce, we are enabling next generation consumer products that are easy to implement, cost effective and highly functional."

Sensory's latest chip, the RSC-4128, integrates speech recognition, speech synthesis and product control. The chip contains a general purpose 8 bit microcontroller which handles all product gameplay.

The EZRadio and the RSC 4128 chipsets are currently available. Prices for a complete voice and wireless package start at under $3.50 in quantity.
