Intelleca Launches South Africa’s First Contact Center On-Demand Service

CosmoCom partner Intelleca recently introduced the first hosted Contact Center On-Demand (CCOD) service in South Africa, and just completed a roll-out of the solution at two customer sites.

Its first customer, Telemed, is one of the country’s largest health insurance administrators. The second customer, a global publications company, began live operations in early August, and a third customer, a multibillion-dollar industrial brand management company, is close behind.

Intelleca began its business relationship with CosmoCom as a value-added reseller (VAR) of CosmoCall Universe and has now become a hosted service provider as well, significantly broadening the scope of its CosmoCom-related business. "We are happy to see our partners grow and expand their offerings on our versatile platform," said Ari Sonesh, chairman and CEO of CosmoCom. "We strongly believe that the more paths to market our channel partners have, and the more deployment choices they can offer to potential customers, the more successful they will be, and the more successful CosmoCom will be."

Intelleca made the strategic decision to become a hosted contact center service provider based on its observation that there was a large and unsatisfied demand for such a service in its region. South African enterprises were expanding rapidly, and many needed to replace or expand their contact centers.
CosmoCom Universe is multitenant platform with no up-front capital costs; customers pay for a full-featured contact center solution on a monthly basis.
