Interactions Launches New Technology Labs

Interactions, a provider of speech and natural language technology solutions, has expanded its research and development division with the establishment of new technology labs located in Murray Hill, N.J., and New York. With extensive experience in speech recognition, natural language processing, voice biometrics, speech synthesis, and machine learning, the expanding division will enable Interactions to speed innovation, development, and delivery of products and solutions. This includes responsive customer care solutions, conversational applications, connected devices, and innovative service offerings, such as the “Interface of Things.” 

"The team in New Jersey and New York is focused on our core technology and will enable Interactions to bring universal, accurate interfaces for any device, service, or application to market more quickly than ever before," said Mike Iacobucci, CEO of Interactions, in a statement. "This growth is a reflection of our continued commitment and drive to make significant advancements in speech and language technologies that will fundamentally change what's possible in human-machine interaction."

The technology labs are led by industry experts Jay Wilpon, senior vice president of natural language research; David Thomson, vice president of speech research; and Benjamin Stern, vice president of software systems research.
