Lenovo Partners with Orbita for Voice-Enabled Home Assistant
Lenovo Health is partnering with Orbita, a provider of connected home healthcare technologies, to introduce Virtual Care, a voice-enabled virtual home care solution.
Virtual Care is based on the Lenovo Smart Assistant, a voice-controlled speaker for the home that combines the power of the Amazon Alexa voice platform and Harman Kardon speaker technology, along with Orbita Voice, a voice experience manager for healthcare that builds on voice assistant platforms like Amazon Alexa to enable intuitive, patient-centric home care experiences.
The goal is for natural voice assistant technology to help patients with chronic and post-acute care needs be more fully engaged in their wellness at home, enhancing their ability to access and share information with providers, caregivers, and family members for improved care journey management, treatment adherence, and medication compliance.

"Lenovo Health's Virtual Care solution aims to innovate the home and the manner in which one engages technology. Leveraging our voice and utilizing telehealth to interact with a patient's provider will transform the delivery of care model. Our collaboration with Orbita will allow us to achieve this vision."
