Logicalis US Launches Hosted Collaboration Solution

Logicalis US, an international IT solutions and managed services provider, has introduced the Logicalis Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS), a Cisco-based enterprise collaboration offering including basic voice and voicemail services, instant messaging and presence services, contact center, and other advanced applications hosted in the cloud.

The new Logicalis Hosted Collaboration Solution provides companies with Cisco's portfolio of collaborative applications in a subscriber-based "as-a-service" format.

"A Logicalis Hosted Collaboration Solution works in much the same way as an on-premises solution; the only difference is where the core UC applications reside," said Cory Rehfeldt, director of the collaboration practice at Logicalis US, in a statement. "When we deploy an HCS solution, we work closely with our clients to first understand their business initiatives, then customize a collaboration solution that supports those goals. While cost savings can be one benefit, two perhaps more important reasons to consider UC as-a-service include the increased flexibility it offers in deploying collaboration applications and the reduced burden on internal IT resources.
