TORINO, ITALY - Loquendo's new VAD - Corporate Service is a speaker-independent employee productivity enhancement application for enterprises of all shapes and sizes. It enables employees to call numbers in the corporate phone directory, including departments and co-workers, by saying the name. The application provides Incoming Call Management - for dealing with high call volumes or for outside switchboard operating hours. Furthermore, a range of self-configurable optional features are available, which contribute to improving the work-environment and increase efficiency. A couple of examples are: the speech-enabled Personal Directory Service and the Personal Assistant - which make sure calls reach users at specified numbers despite changing schedules and locations, and deliver voicemail to their e-mail account. To use VAD - Corporate Service, all employees need is a wireline or wireless phone.
