LumenVox Partners With NeoSpeech in Order to Provide Text-to-Speech Engine

SAN DIEGO, CA and FREMONT, CA - LumenVox, a developer of speech recognition development toolkits, announced a strategic partnership with NeoSpeech, a provider of speech technologies for hand-held, desktop and network/server applications. Under the terms of the partnership LumenVox will work with NeoSpeech's VoiceTEXT technology as a value add for LumenVox's Speech Driven Information System (SDIS). LumenVox's Speech Driven Information System (SDIS) is a speech application toolkit that sports an intuitive GUI interface that allows developers to quickly and easily design their call flow. Through dlls the SDIS can access any database to either obtain or enter in various types of information pertinent to the caller. VoiceTEXT generates high-quality, natural sounding human voices from text input. The technology is available in configurations for a wide range of hand-held devices, desktop and network/server applications. "The partnership with NeoSpeech provides our customers with a high-quality Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine that easily integrates with our SDIS," said Ed Miller, president of LumenVox. "Thus, our customers are provided with not only a great development interface and speech engine, but also one of the best TTS engines available in the marketplace today."
