Maxxar Forms Strategic Partnership with XP Systems

Maxxar, a Microsoft Certified Partner, announced it has formed a strategic alliance with XP Systems, a unit of Fiserv. The alliance will enable XP Systems to offer advanced speech recognition and interactive voice response (IVR) technologies in its recently launched XP2 product. XP2 is an advanced information management solution that gives credit unions the tools and technology they need to manage data processing in house. "By partnering with Maxxar Corporation, we are able to provide our customers with a more comprehensive solution with regard to speech recognition," said John Edwards, president of XP Systems. "Maxxar has established its reputation in the speech recognition technology industry and has a long-standing history with our parent company, Fiserv. We look forward to a successful relationship with Maxxar going forward." The partnership includes the integration of Maxxar's Total Natural Transaction (TNT) system with XP2. It is anticipated that TNT will provide both natural language speech recognition and touch tone IVR based financial transaction capabilities to members of XP Systems' client credit unions. Additionally, client credit unions will be able to provide speech-enabled telephone lending services utilizing natural language speech recognition, name and address recognition and text-to-speech technologies. "We are delighted to team with XP Systems," said Maxxar's CEO Bob Chencinski. "The integration of XP2 and TNT will provide XP Systems' clients outstanding telephone financial services. I believe that credit union memberships will experience new levels of convenience and service through the marriage of these great solutions."
