Me2me Releases Digital Dictation App for iOS and BlackBerry Devices

me2me, a provider of mobile dictation, transcription, and speech recognition solutions, has launched a new version of its Frisbee Smart App for Apple iOS and BlackBerry users, fully redesigned with additional features and developed to communicate with the Frisbee Enterprise Server solution.

Thanks to the recent partnership with M*Modal, a provider of clinical documentation services and speech understanding solutions, healthcare professionals can now use the Frisbee Enterprise iOS or BlackBerry App to record with high-quality audio totally suitable for use with speech recognition in the cloud.

"Many of our customers, especially in the healthcare market, are looking for tools and technology options that make their workflow processes more efficient, speech recognition in the cloud being one of the most important. This is in response to this demand that we have developed and redesigned our Frisbee Smart App, now available for the Enterprise users," said Peter Hauser, CEO of me2me, in a statement.

Frisbee Smart is protected with a personal four-digit PIN, and dictations are sent directly to the Frisbee Enterprise Server through a secure connection using the TLS protocol and a 1024-bit key for encryption.

"Professionals who are used to dictating with a traditional digital dictation device won't have any difficulty in using our new apps, available in English, French, and German. Easy-to-use touch-screen controls and features, such as overwriting/inserting, selectable audio qualities; microphone settings, file size control, and much more, are available as on a traditional dictation device,” said Daniel Hall, chief technology officer at me2me, in the statement.

Frisbee Smart Enterprise is downloadable from the Apple AppStore and the BlackBerry AppWorld Storefront. The app can be used only in combination with a Frisbee Enterprise Server.
