Molina Healthcare Teams Up With Sandata Technologies

Molina Healthcare, a provider of Medicaid managed services, and Sandata Technologies, a technology solutions provider to the home care industry, today announced an agreement for Sandata to exclusively provide electronic visit verification (EVV) services for Molina's home and community-based programs.

Molina will be using a combination of Sandata's EVV technologies, including biometric voice identification, a process in which the caregiver provides voice authentication through the Santrax Speaker Verification system.

The company is also providing Molina with other services, including the Santrax Payor Management solution that enables Molina to validate visit information electronically in a variety of patient settings, which aids in increasing compliance, claims accuracy, and eliminating inappropriately billed services.

The Santrax Payor Management solution also includes Santrax Telephonic Visit Verification, which uses automated number identification (ANI) technology to validate visits. Additionally, it offers Santrax Fixed Visit Verification, which uses patented technology to verify visits when landline or cell phone service is unavailable, and Santrax Mobile Visit Verification, which offers an option of mobile devices with GPS to track visits and field worker activity.
