Monaco Telecom Selects Voxpilot to Deliver VideoMail Service

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. - Monaco Telecom launched Voxpilot's VideoMail, a mobile video messaging solution.  VideoMail enables operators to deploy and offer their subscribers video messaging services on their mobile phones in 3G networks today. VideoMail is built on NMS' Open Access™ framework, using the Video Access™ developer toolkit.

Voxpilot's VideoMail helps operators like Monaco Telecom take advantage of their 3G network infrastructure investments by providing everything they need to launch mobile video messaging, including hardware, software and installation.  Hosted on a server with 2000 mailboxes, VideoMail functions like a visual voicemail repository, allowing callers to leave video messages that can be subsequently retrieved by the recipient.

The Voxpilot video messaging application was built using NMS' Video Access media processing toolkit, which serves as the foundation for a range of video applications ranging from 3G-324M wireless video gateways to wireless video messaging and streaming servers to video media adaptation including video transcoders.  Voxpilot's VideoMail solution implements 3G-324M standards defined by the 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) ensuring interoperability of the mobile phone with the mobile network equipment and providing connectivity via T1 or E1 trunks.  It includes a dual audio and video messaging application for 3G mobile networks, and the VideoMail application also supports non-3G mobile devices by offering the audio-only interactive voice interface.
