NSC Launches Hosted Video Search Service for EVTV1

NSC (Natural Speech Communication Ltd.), the developer and operator of www.snipp.tv multimedia indexing and tagging platform, today launched a video search service on the EVTV1 Web site using it’s SnippSearch service. EVTV1 is a video aggregator specializing in entertainment and lifestyle videos with content from the leading movie studios and TV networks.

The SnippSearch service provides automatic indexing and search capabilities over multimedia content, incorporating speech recognition to reveal information hidden in the media's audio track, thus providing more search results, and higher relevancy. The underlying speech recognition technology is an advanced keyword spotting algorithm that locates the searched terms in audio streams of multimedia files, enabling indexing of audio data previously hidden from users and search engines.

The service also includes the Snipp.TV search interface, offering a unique search experience for users. The interface provides media ‘snippets’ around the spoken searched terms enabling fast screening of the search results.

The new service was implemented on EVTV1 site to help EVTV1 users to find videos on the site, using an advanced search mechanism that provides insights on the clips content, as well as easy browsing through the search results and quick previews. The service aims to create higher video consumption and additional ads income.

"We are excited to launch a search service with EVTV1. SnippSearch service will enable EVTV1 to optimize their internal video search by enriching their search results while providing an improved search experience to the users," said Hanan Maoz, CEO of NSC. "We believe that combining our video search capabilities with EVTV1 quality content will result with higher video consumption by the users and longer time spent on EVTV1 site."

"EVTV1 is pleased to be working with Snipp.TV. Their search technology is superb and they integrated with our site in a seamless fashion. We look forward to a long and exciting relationship as video matures to the next level," said Jaffer Ali, CEO of EVTV1.
