CLEMMONS, NC - NextUp.com announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with Cepstral LLC. Under the terms of the partnership, NextUp will offer Cepstral's synthetic voices to consumers, educators and businesses as part of its TextAloud MP3 PC software.

"We've found great demand globally for natural sounding text-to-speech voices that can be downloaded and have a small installation footprint relative to other speech engines" said NextUp CEO Ken White. "Cepstral voices give our users the ability to bring their computers to life by adding distinct personalities to our Text-to-Speech applications.  Additionally, these voices are extremely fast when creating audio files, one of the most used features in our software."

According to NextUp.com, as part of the partnership with Cepstral, NextUp's users may choose among six Cepstral English voices offered including a variety of male and female voices, a child's voice, and a Scottish accent.  Users can listen to Web pages, e-mail, reports, articles and any other type of text
