Nuance Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search Apps Rolled Out in Indonesia
Nuance Tuesday launched its Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search applications for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad in Indonesia, supporting the Bahasa Indonesia language. The applications are available for free from the Indonesian Apple App Store.
Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search is the only app that features Dragon Search Carouse, which allows users to dictate short message service text messages, emails, social media updates, mobile Web searches, and more up to five times faster than typing, the company said. Dragon Dictation is iOS-5 compatible, and also includes an auto-save function that retains dictated text when the user is interrupted by an incoming phone call. Multilingual capabilities give all Dragon app users the ability to switch between supported languages as they become available, Nuance said.

In fact, this is the twenty-eighth country where the Dragon apps have been launched, with the popularity of our Dragon apps worldwide clearly demonstrating the intense consumer demand for voice-enabled interactions with their smartphones," said Jason Stirling, senior vice president, Asia Pacific, Nuance, in a statement.
Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search are also available in the United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Australia, Denmark, Brazil, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. In addition to Bahasa Indonesia, the Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search support U.S, U.K., and Australian English; Japanese; Mandarin Chinese; Taiwan Mandarin; Cantonese; Korean; Hungarian; Danish; Dutch; Finnish; European and Canadian French; German; Italian; Norwegian; Polish; European and Brazilian Portuguese; Russian; European and Americas Spanish; and Swedish.
