Nuance Launches Dragon Apps in Greece

Nuance announced the availability of its Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search applications for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad in the Greece App Store.

"We're incredibly excited to see the Dragon apps hit Greece, marking the thirty-fifth country and twenty-nine languages we've rolled out," said Michael Thompson, executive vice president and general manager, Nuance Mobile, in a statement. "The Dragon apps continue to showcase incredible momentum in every region launched, taking the top spots in nearly every regional App Store to date."

Dragon Dictation is iOS-5 compatible and features a pop-up toolbar with app icons that enable users to easily access email, SMS, Facebook, or Twitter status bars, or the clipboard. Dragon Dictation also includes an Auto Save function that retains dictated text when the user is interrupted by an incoming phone call.

Dragon Search allows users to speak any search query to quickly and easily find information and knowledge on the mobile Web. Dragon Search features Nuance's Dragon Search Carousel, which delivers search results within seconds across multiple channels all at once including Google, Yahoo!, Twitter, iTunes, Wikipedia, and YouTube.

Both Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search are available for free from the Apple App Store in Greece.
