Nuance Speech App Now Part of Salesforce.com

Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9 from Nuance Communications has been certified by Salesforce.com and is now available on the AppExchange, thereby speech-enabling salesforce.com’s on-demand customer relationship management applications.

With Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Salesforce users can use voice commands to dictate and edit notes and updates, create shortcuts for inserting blocks of texts or images, or create macros to streamline repetitive workflows.

"Speech input is a natural fit for an application like Salesforce in terms of simplicity, time savings, and improved data quality," said Robert Weideman, general manager and senior vice president for Nuance Productivity Applications. "It can be time-consuming to type call notes and contact updates manually, and ultimately it takes away from valuable time that could be spent selling.
