OSC to Resell Telelogue's Automated DA Product

ISELIN, NJ - OSC, a Platinum Equity company and outsource provider of telecommunications services, announced that it has incorporated into its directory assistance (DA) service offering, Telelogue's Voice Directory Assistance (VDA). Telelogue's VDA is an automated local and national DA service that functions much like human operators. "The addition of Telelogue's VDA to our suite of services provides a compelling value proposition by allowing us to pass savings to our customers, while maintaining our high quality," stated Kirk Smith, President of OSC. Telelogue's VDA is already implemented and collocated at OSC's central office and integrated with its proprietary operator platform, allowing the VDA application to handoff calls to an operator when necessary. OSC is servicing customers with the VDA in combination with its human operators. The service makes eligible for automation every residential, business and government directory listing in the United States, and includes a feature that allows callers to be connected automatically to the requested telephone number. Many DA calls will be automated without any involvement from a human operator. "Telelogue is delighted to partner with OSC. OSC's innovative market strategy positions it well as the first DA provider to embrace DA automation to its fullest capacity," said Robert W. Burke, Telelogue's CEO. "Our combined services will provide quicker, more consistent, and more accurate 411 listings to callers."
