PCCW Launches PC Video Calls with GIPS Technology

Global IP Solutions (GIPS) announced that PCCW, a Hong Kong telecommunications provider, has implemented GIPS VideoEngine technology to power its new PC softphone, 0060 Everywhere.
   
PCCW’s Internet service commands the largest share of the territory’s broadband market with more than one million retail and business customers. GIPS is a provider of voice and video processing technology for IP networks.

PCCW trialed a number of alternative solutions before selecting and implementing GIPS VideoEngine.
