PM3 Selects Voxeo as Platform For Global, Multichannel Messaging

Voxeo partners with UK-based PM3 to drive adoption rate of multichannel self-service solutions.

PM3, a U.K.-based application developer specializing in interactive, multichannel messaging applications for customer contact environments, has signed a reseller agreement with Voxeo. PM3 solutions have been deployed in the financial services, sports and leisure, charities, service desk, and language services industries.

During the past five years, PM3 has developed and deployed applications on multiple VoiceXML platforms from several providers. To simplify development and operations as their business grows, PM3 decided to reduce its investment to a single, strategic platform. It needed a platform that could provide cost-competitive worldwide coverage using XML hosting, deliver proven reliability, conform to industry standards, and provide exceptional support. After evaluating the major platforms in the market, PM3 selected Voxeo. 

"Because we develop integrated applications, we need VoiceXML and CCXML to be as close as possible to international standards," says Marcus Vaigncourt-Strallen, managing director of PM3. "We also need a flexible commercial arrangement that would allow us to provide our customers with variable capacity depending on their demand. Voxeo was the only supplier that satisfactorily met or exceeded all of our criteria. We have now ported all of our main services to the Voxeo platform without encountering any major technical difficulties. If needed, we can also migrate solutions onto the customer's premises using Voxeo's software, which is the same as the Voxeo hosting environment."

One PM3 solution that has been ported to the Voxeo voice platform is Interpreters-on-Call. Interpreters-on-Call is a service set up to enable language companies to connect their customers to professional interpreters who match the skills that the customer needs. The service is offered 24/7 via an automated phone system. It gives any business of any size the opportunity to develop a bespoke phone interpreting service for a client, no matter how large or small the business or client may be.
