SAN FRANCISCO – UTOPY has named Eric Zankman as its new vice president of client solutions and consulting services. He comes to UTOPY with a background from Bank of America, American Management Systems, and his own customer analytics firm.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – NEC Corp. of America has named Dave Davenport as senior vice president of its newly created IT Platform Group. Davenport previously was CEO, president, and director at Stored IQ, Copan Systems, and SANCastle Technologies. Prior to that, he held various vice president and senior management positions with Hitachi and Hitachi Data Systems. He started his career with IBM.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Interwise has named Douglas Collins to the newly created position of vice president for worldwide alliances and channel sales. Collins is a 20-year veteran of the enterprise information technology industry, having worked at Oracle, Into Networks, and Softricity. He also owned bThere Communications, a channel consulting group serving emerging IP network and business communications companies.

CUPERTINO, Calif. – Vocera Communications named Robert Zollars chairman and CEO. Zollars has 28 years of healthcare and technology experience, having served most recently as chairman and CEO of Neoforma, Santa Clara, Calif.
