Rhetorical's Dedicated Text-to-Speech Meeting

EDINBURGH , Scotland - This year's TTS World promises to be larger with the venue moving to offer more delegate places. Speech industry experts, analysts and practitioners, will be gathering to examine the latest developments in text-to-speech, share experiences of deployments, consider the marketplace and preview innovations in the technology.

The program is organized around four main themes: using TTS for all automated speech output; creating a distinguished synthesized voice; design of Voice User Interfaces for TTS; and building integrated application stacks. Each theme will feature case studies, ideas and
advice from Rhetorical staff, partners and customers about building and deploying speech solutions.  Keynotes will be delivered by, among others, Mark Plakias of Zelos Group and Rhetorical customer Vodafone.

Whilt the formal program is busy there will be the same scope as in 2003 for informal meetings and relaxation with fellow delegates and the Rhetorical team. The venue is the Holyrood Hotel, with views to the new Scottish Parliament building (something of a conversation piece) and on the edge of green space Holyrood Park , popular with walkers, joggers, cyclists, geologists, birdwatchers, and for kite flying, tennis and team sports.

Attendance at TTS world is by invitation, but anyone interested in attending can register their details by visiting http://www.rhetorical.com/ttsworld.html or emailing ttsworld@rhetorical.com
