Robert Aiudi Joins Spoken Translation as Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Spoken Translation has named Robert Aiudi to the position of vice president of sales and business development.  Aiudi will be responsible for expanding Spoken Translation's direct and channel sales organizations for the Converser product line, and will oversee all business development efforts for OEM/custom solutions.  He will report directly to Mark Seligman, STI's founder and CEO.

Robert Aiudi has been working in the speech industry for more than 12 years. Starting at Dragon Systems, he directed international business development efforts, and then moved to Rhetorical Systems as vice president for North America. A former member of the editorial board of Speech Technology Magazine, Aiudi will moderate several panels at the upcoming SpeechTEK 2005 conference in New York City, August 1-4.  Aiudi speaks several languages fluently and has worked internationally as a consultant in speech technology.  He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut and attended Yale University where he studied the Mandarin Chinese language.  He currently resides in New York.
