SVOX Adds Arabic to Its TTS Line

SVOX, a provider of embedded speech solutions, today announced the immediate availability of Arabic language across the range of SVOX Automotive and SVOX Mobile speech output products.

The addition of this male voice brings the total number of languages in the SVOX TTS portfolio to 25 and the number of voices to 36, with availability for all major platforms and various footprints. 

The modular architecture of SVOX speech output systems means that the new voice is offered across the whole range of text-to-speech solutions based on unit selection technology, namely SVOX Automotive TTS (Standard, Pro and Plus configurations) and SVOX Mobile TTS (Standard and Pro configurations).

As the region grows in prosperity, customers of SVOX are getting more and more interested in the language being accommodated on their automotive and mobile products. SVOX is constantly working to extend and update its portfolio of TTS languages and voices, with more languages, including Hungarian, under development. Now available are: Arabic, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, U.S. and U.K. English, Finnish, European and Canadian French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Brazilian and European Portuguese, Russian, European and North American Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish.
